Seamless install application
Step 1
Remove Headliner
Remove pillar trims and fittings, then take the headliner out of the vehicle.
Step 2
Paint or Dye Headliner
[Optional] Apply fabric paint or dye evenly to achieve your desired colour and allow it to fully dry.
Step 3
Mark Holes
Pen in star positions based on the chosen star density and desired layout.
Step 4
Drill Holes
Drill at each marked point using a 1–1.5 mm drill bit. A dremel is the best tool, but a pin or drill will work fine.
Step 5
Thread Fibers
Insert the fibre optic strands through each hole from the back of the headliner.
Step 6
Glue Fibers
Secure the fibres in place on the rear side using a pea sized amount of hot glue.
Step 7
Cut Fibers Flush
Trim the fibre ends on the front surface so they sit flush with the headliner. Ideal tool is flush cutters, nail clippers will work.
Step 8
Reinstall Headliner
Reinstall the finished headliner back into the vehicle and reconnect all fittings. Connect fibers to motor with supplied fittings.
Step 9
Enjoy the Ambience
Switch on your starlight headliner and enjoy the finished result!
